Angelo Pirri was a Sicilian fisherman who immigrated to America. Settling in Bristol, RI he became a local fish monger, teaching his son Anthony "Tony" Pirri the fishing industry. "Tony" Pirri spent four years in the armed service and was part of the Army's 129th Division which invaded the beaches of Normandy on D-Day. Upon returning home from the war "Tony" continued working with his father. In 1947 Angelo Pirri passed away and "Tony" Pirri continued the business his father started, now known as Tony's Seafood. In 1978 Tony's children Angelo and Nikki-Ann expanded the business opening a wholesale and retail operation in Seekonk, MA. In 1997 Angelo Pirri designed a state of the art processing plant in Warren, RI which now houses the wholesale division of Tony's Seafood. Today the Retail store in Seekonk, MA is still run by Nikki-Ann and Angelo's oldest son Anthony. The Wholesale division in Warren, RI is still run by Angelo and his middle son Mark. As a fourth generation business, Tony's Seafood continues its family tradition of selling "The Finest in Seafood".
